Music Brings Us Together

 

The Eastern Panhandle Community Band (EPCB) is an ensemble of musicians from across West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle and beyond. We believe that music is for everyone – whether you last played last week or last decade. Our band family welcomes all skill levels to rehearse, perform, and celebrate the joy of live music together.

For many families, the holidays are about more than gifts— they’re about warmth, tradition, and feeling remembered.

This January, the Eastern Panhandle Community Band is launching Operation Christmas Tree, collecting gently used artificial Christmas trees, lights, and decorations to be gifted to families in need next November.

A tree that once stood in your home can become the center of someone else’s holiday memories—a place for laughter, hope, and togetherness.

If you have decorations you’re no longer using, consider passing that joy forward.


Because everyone deserves a Christmas that feels bright.

Last night’s concert was truly something special, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you to everyone who joined us, cheered us on, and continues to support the Eastern Panhandle Community Band. Your presence, encouragement, and generosity mean more to us than we can ever put into words.

 

From the musicians on stage to the faces in the audience, this band exists because of community—and last night was a beautiful reminder of that.

 

What’s next?

 

Rehearsals resume January 6 as we begin preparing for our spring concert, so if you’re interested in joining our band now is a great time! We have some exciting things ahead in the new year.
